Thanks for this video, I think most of the info here is still valid I'm building up a CCIE EI lab at the moment and the prices have come down a LOT, particular 3850 switches - I looked into this around the time of your video 3 years ago but it was way too expensive at the time I just picked up the following in the UK on ebay this morning: 2x Dell R730 servers with 2x 12c/24t CPUs, 256GB RAM £120/$150 each - cheapest ESXI 7.0 officially supported servers I could find with lots of ram 4x Cisco 3850 POE 1gb switches £50/$60 each - I was going to go for 2x 3850 2x 3650 but the prices for 3850s were slightly less, think there's more of them on the used market 3x Cisco 1832i access points £45 / $55 each (1700 series APs are a lot cheaper but I couldnt see any 1700/2700/3700 series APs on the SD access support list any more, maybe they've been removed) I will use one of the servers dedicated for DNA centre (or is it Catalyst Centre now ...) and the other server for virtual routers, and ISE, and other bits (maybe virtual firewalls etc) I already have a Nexus 5020 which I use as a switch for my lab (quite cheap way to get a load of 10GB ports) I have added 2x cheap SATA 2TB SSDs in an old Dell R710 server which I will use as shared storage over iSCSI, should be enough in RAID0 configuration Total price for everything I needed to buy around £700 / $880 Hopefully I will be able to test out all the scenarios using this setup

I was not able to get the GUI. I can log into ssh via port 222 and acess the command line and also within the VM I can access maglev cli but GUI is not working. How can I solve it ?

I want to add if you pass another exam for CCNP during the period your ECNOR is still valid it adds the new CCNP exam expiration date to your core exam as by having two CCNPs (in my case ENCOR and ENWLSI) you have the CCPN enterprise and that adds latest taken exam expiration time.

Just passed the 200-301, 350-401 is next. I passed the 200-101 in 2015 and the 200-105 in 2020 both while a valid CCENT so now time to take it to a new level. Into industrial networking and automation control.

I completed more than 120 CE Credits for the renewal of my CCIE. But unfortunately CCIE has not be renewed all I Can see that 40 credits has been deducted for my specialist certifications. When I login to the CCIE portal it is asking me to complete further 40 Credits for the CCIE Recertification. I have open the support case, who the heck on earth wants to recertify the Specialist certification via Credits. Hope to get an answer soon. Can someone please explain is this how it works.

Hi,i have the same problem, the connection between new ap and controller absolutely good,but at gui wlc the new ap not detected on APs list. Actually for the first reset the ap,then the ap downloading the image from controller,the new ap detected on wlc,but after that the new ap is not detected anymore on wlc. Pls advice for any ideas

Hi Jeff, Is it possible to create VLANs for each connection in a AAA device. Can there be 2 option. One define a number of defined connections with username and password in a VLAN and whoever connects using that VLAN will be invicible from others. Other option is create VLANs on the fly. Is both possible on any AAA device?

hello.....as soon as i hit the DNAC ip into the browser.....i am getting an json error saying {"message":"no route and no API found with those values"} i have tried reinstalling for about 15 times...... still not able to resolve this error.... in the DNS i am giving local as well as open DNS ip..... also tried only with open DNS ip.... but still not able to comeup with any solution any solution how to resolve this i tried many times to search on internet but very less and limited options are mentioned which are actually not working for me
